&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;                                                    Whole Wheat Pancakes&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;em&gt;What youll need: 1/2 cup whole wheat flour, 1/4 tsp. baking soda, 1/2 tsp. baking powder, salt, 1 tsp. sugar, 1/2 cup milk (I use coconut or almond), 1 egg white, 1/2 tsp. vanilla&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Mix together the flour, baking soda, baking powder, salt, and sugar in one bowl. Mix the rest of the ingredients in another one. Gradually mix the dry into the wet. Stir until well mixed (dont over mix unless you want tough pancakes) let sit for a but and cook on a greased pan. Add any toppings and enjoy these healthy delicious pancakes!!!&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;As you may have noticed, I &lt;a href="http://life-with-aubrey.tumblr.com/post/36429656830/this-is-the-base-of-my-lightened-up-apple-cobbler"&gt;really like&lt;/a&gt; &lt;a href="http://life-with-aubrey.tumblr.com/post/36139212343/give-me-an-apple-based-dessert-recipe-and-i-will"&gt;apple&lt;/a&gt; &lt;a href="http://life-with-aubrey.tumblr.com/post/34828691754/i-just-got-back-to-new-jersey-after-spending-most"&gt;desserts&lt;/a&gt;.  I’m constantly looking for new recipes to make healthier.  As I was cleaning my kitchen the other day, I found this booklet of really delicious but really unhealthy recipes my mom had given me a few years ago.  I decided to healthify the apple crumble and took the recipe from a whopping 600+ calories per serving to a more reasonable 142.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Healthy Apple Crumble&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;br/&gt;&lt;em&gt;9 servings&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;topping-&lt;br/&gt;1/3 cup rolled oats&lt;br/&gt;2/3 cup whole wheat flour&lt;br/&gt;3 tablespoons butter, cut into small pieces&lt;br/&gt;5 tablespoons unsweetened applesauce &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;filling-&lt;br/&gt;2 tablespoons sugar&lt;br/&gt;2 teaspoons apple pie spice (you can substitute cinnamon)&lt;br/&gt;2 pounds tart apples (I used Granny Smith), peeled, cored, and sliced&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Preheat your oven to 425° and lightly mist a 13x9 baking pan or 2-quart casserole dish with cooking spray.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;In a large bowl, combine all of the ingredients for the topping.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Arrange the sliced apples across the bottom of the dish.  Sprinkle with the sugar and apple pie spice.  Pour the topping evenly over the apples.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Bake for 20-25 minutes, or until the apples have slightly softened and the topping is golden brown.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;2 whole eggs&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;1/2 scoop protein powder (i used vanilla)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;1 TBSP flaxseed meal&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;&lt;em&gt;ground cinnamon (to your liking)&lt;/em&gt;&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;Simply mix all the ingredients in a bowl and cook using spray oil! I topped mine with plain greek nonfat yogurt and more cinnamon. &lt;em&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Delicious, healthy and filling!&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/em&gt; Abs are made in the kitchen guys.&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;p&gt;Baked Banana Oatmeal&lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;1/4 tsp kosher salt&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;3) Combine the &lt;strong&gt;wet ingredients&lt;/strong&gt;:&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ul&gt;&lt;li&gt;1 egg, beat&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1 mashed banana&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1.5 cups skim milk&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1 tsp vanilla&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;4) Pour the wet ingredients into the dry. Mix well.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;5) Line an &lt;strong&gt;8″ pan&lt;/strong&gt; with parchment paper or use cooking spray.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;6) Layer some banana slices on the bottom. Pour batter into pan. Top with remaining banana slices. &lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;7) Pop into a 375* oven for about 26 minutes.&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;8) After 26 minutes, increase heat to broil, sprinkle oatmeal with 1 heaping tbsp &lt;strong&gt;brown suga&lt;/strong&gt;r and broil for 3-4 minutes. (Makes a bubbly caramelized sugar topping!)&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;p&gt;Makes &lt;strong&gt;4 servings: &lt;/strong&gt;275 kcal, 6 grams fiber and 11 grams protein each. &lt;/p&gt;

&lt;li&gt;1/2 teaspoon baking soda&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1 teaspoon cinnamon&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;1/4 cup water&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Optional: nuts, chocolate chips, fruits&lt;/li&gt;
&lt;/ul&gt;&lt;p&gt;&lt;strong&gt;Directions:&lt;/strong&gt;&lt;/p&gt;
&lt;ol&gt;&lt;li&gt;In a large bowl mash bananas with sugar and vanilla until combined and creamy. Then mix in the water. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;In a smaller bowl, sift together the flour, soda, powder and cinnamon. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Add the dry to wet and stir until just mixed. You don’t want to over mix or the bread will be dry. &lt;/li&gt;
&lt;li&gt;Pour batter into sprayed loaf pan and bake in preheated 350°F oven for one hour. Your house will smell so good you will be tempted to take it out a few minutes earlier but don’t or it won’t be done on the inside. &lt;/li&gt;
